Felicia/Peter/Emma fic, why won't you JUST HAPPEN?

It's two of the most promiscuous women in the Marvel universe and a guy who is well-documented as liking sex. What's the problem here?

Peter is not Emma's type. Emma would rather take a cheese grater to her vagina than a nobody nerd like Peter. Emma may be a superhero, but she is still an elitist.

Point of order: If Emma has taken on Scott Summers, she'll have no excuse not to do the same for Peter, who has all of Scott's nobility, plus a personality (okay, that's a little harsh, but I'll stand by it). As Jessica Rabbit said of Roger, "he makes me laugh."

Besides, Webbing = Bondage = Emma's Piqued Interest. And she has a history of poaching men from redheads. If both a supermodel and a socialite jewel thief have been interested in a guy, she'll have to know what all the fuss is about.

But Scott, as unfathomably boring as he is, is an overachiever who grew up in a mansion. Not to mention he keeps quiet and lets her be the witty one. Two things Peter doesn't have.

Peter's from the wrong side of the tracks. That makes him a bad boy. Women go for that.

And Emma can get tired of Scott's stoic repression, otherwise she wouldn't be pestering him into expressing himself all the time. She'd need someone to give her a challenge in the snark-offs.

Peter is not a bad boy; that's the problem! He is just a regular guy. He doesn't fill Emma's quota of depravity enough to make up for his lack of status.

Not filling the quota of depravity just means that Emma will have fun determining what he's repressed, then either milking it or corrupting him to the point of being bastard enough to be likeable.

Bah! Nothing rope and telepathic subduing can't do. Emma has enough snark on herself and dislikes competition. Eyes, I give you, though. But Cyclops has a better policy on school vouchers and off shore oil drilling.
