Booster Gold

So, a Booster Gold TV show. No reason why that couldn't work--it's a pretty simple premise, so provided they don't get bogged down in A Gifted Man style moralizing about how Booster needs to "be a real hero" and stick to him being kind of an idiot most of the time, could be fun. I'm assuming it'd be a buddy comedy with Ted Kord, since every other TV show has a bromance these days, so why wouldn't they? I'll never be able to understand the direction DC has taken the character, like they're trying to get him to appeal to people who like Booster Gold, but not him being silly or being part of a comedy duo.

Think about it. It's like someone saying "I like Batman, but I hate stories where he's not wearing a rainbow-colored Batsuit," and then DC starts pandering only to that one guy.

Anyway. TV show. What could possibly go wrong?

The project, which hails from Greg Berlanti's Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Horizon Television, will count Berlanti (Brothers & Sisters, No Ordinary Family, Green Lantern) as an executive producer. Fringe's Andrew Kreisberg, who collaborated with Berlanti on ABC's Eli Stone, is on board to pen the script and executive produce.

Is there literally one project mentioned in that paragraph that hasn't crashed and burned? Okay, Fringe, which is alright for being the version of The X-Files that people don't watch. But was Brothers & Sisters so great that it basically gives you a lifetime pass? What, is that what they called Arrested Development in Europe.
