Amazing Spider-Man -- you know, they say they're basing it off Ultimate Spider-Man, but that was actually really glossy and colorful and they basically turned Peter into Mel Brooks in terms of joking around. This isn't that. This is Spider-Man in the 90s, when Todd McFarlene was writing and Spider-man went around brooding and calling himself "the Arach-Knight" and oh god, pregnant women, I should've warned you, being exposed to that kind of raw stupidity can't be good for a fetus.
So anyway, I think for Amazing Spider-Man 2: Amaze Harder, Carnage should be the villain and Ben Reilly should show up. Just to complete the metaphor.
