To avoid in-laws, I have written copious amounts of fic in various fandoms. Now I'm just waiting for December... make that 2007 Year of the Threequel to be over so I can post them. It's like waiting for the weekend to be over, only much worse. Because I know right now there is no one out there in Interwebs-Land saying "I wish there were a fic out there for me to hug and cuddle and comment on and rec," because y'all either have lives or, in absence of lives, a Secret Santa fic exchange. And I'd hate for one of my little ol' fics to get lost in an avalanche of obscure and/or obscene fandom fic. SOW, you know how everyone is dipping back into Dark Angel fandom cuza Teh Ackles? I wonder if 101 Dalmations fandom will explode when someone finds out that it has Teh Laurie in it. True, his primary motivation in that movie is to kill puppies, but worse things have been excused because of secret, woeful man-pain in the past (looking at you, Anakin. Lookin' riiiiiight at you).

So, hurry up January, and bring with you the Year... of Serious Fic!

P.S. One of the longfics I have planned has quite a bit of sex in it. I'm hoping none of it is spork-worthy and it's gotten to the point where I have given myself all too many read-throughs to make sure this sex is as wanky and un-sporky as possible. Now I am at the point where I'm just ready to post it, sex bits and all, and let the chips fall where they may. After all, there are certain sex acts it's impossible to research too thoroughly without ending up in jail or Las Vegas. (Don't worry, I did research, it's just mostly from reading other smut. SCIENCE!)
