Oh, THIS. *loves* All of it, but especially the first bit, and predictably, the Sam/Kara bit. I would be deliriously happy if we could see something like that with Boomer and Athena, and I really wish we had gotten some of Athena's issues over the fact that she really was kind of a Boomer replacement at some point. And I love that Boomer has come to terms with sharing while Athena has come to a place where she feels like she's stealing. I like that Boomer is more Cylon in her perception of identity, and Athena has become more human in her thinking.
Adama looking at the ship some more, but there's actually some point to it (as opposed to him doing this on the show).
And Sam/Kara. <3. The fact that she would read him Latin, poetry, and the flight manuals to get him to wake up? All kinds of awesome. And I also sort of love how she would do all of that and then say she loves him, because, well, that's even more last resort than reading from the Cylon bible. I love the desperation and the devotion in this bit. And then the hopelessness, too. And the shippiness, of course.
And, um, are the Greeks Cylons now? I do love that you picked "The Aeneid" over "The Iliad" because it's a lot more significant to the BSG story.
