Feeling kinda depressed

Which makes no sense. I mean, seriousfic getting paid. But I watched that astonishing People All Get Ready video for Heroes and it's just so intense. Then I thought about how it all ended up going downhill. And Legend of the Seeker is still canceled... seriously, can we at least get a DTV movie? And I thought of watching Indiana Jones, but that last scene in Last Crusade always makes me cry. I mean, the adventure is over. There won't be any more Indy. No, Shia LeBeouf And The Fucking Aliens doesn't count.

Tl;dr there's a dearth of epic storytelling in my life and I'm far too affected by the media?

Depression not lifting

Okay, so now Andy Whitfield has cancer again and season two of Spartacus is off. Okay, is it wrong if my twelfth thought... like, after "how come you can only get chicken pox once but cancer, like, infinity times? Shouldn't it be the other way around? 'Sir, your chicken pox is in remission.' 'Ma'am, good news, the tumor is benign, so at least now you've gotten cancer over with.'" Am I a bad person if my twelfth thought is "dude, just un-cancel LotS, add some boobs and gore, no one will notice"? Throw in Lucy Lawless too, it's cool. You can even do a plot where Richard gets enslaved and has to fight in gladiatorial combat. That's canon (he escaped by carving a really good statue. The story was getting a bit silly by then). And hey, Mord'Sith group baths? All those Confessors growing up together, unable to touch anyone but each other... and there are no boys allowed (seriously, if there are boy Confessors, they're murdered ten seconds out of the womb)? And for the other ladies, you can't tell me Craig Parker wouldn't do nudity.

Don't get me wrong, Spartacus is a fun show, but there is no end to the programs I would prison-shiv to get LotS back. A Game of Thrones? Say what you will about Terry Goodkind, but at least he finishes his stupid rape-y books! Treme? I would go Katrina on that show. Smallville? If there were a vein in that show's penis, I would do my damnedest to sever it.
