Wait, did she... did she just order up a boy-hooker? Right in front of her boyfriend?
I see some reorganization is due on account of Ellen fucking Dolan.

Being a woman was more fun in the golden than in the silver age.

Hope you don't mind, I friended you based on your incredibly insightful and funny commentary on moviebuffs. And when I saw you're also a comic book guy, I figure I'd better keep an eye on what you were writing.
Linda Park has always been one of my favorite super hero girlfriends. I suppose she gets bonus points because she wasn't around back in the golden age to have those "Oh no! I'm so helpless and useless because I'm a woman" moments. Lois has had her share of them.

Does Comics!Felicia Hardy not get a place in the bad girlfriend list for her reaction to Peter's dramatic unmasking? 'Omg that's what your face looks like? Blegh! Put the mask back on!'

I don't think it was actually uncommon to have more than one boyfriend at the time back then - I remember my Grandmother (and several others of her age group) actually had more than one boyfriend, if anything (she told me) it was looked *down* upon if you didn't!

Then, dating multiple people at the same time was expected. How else were you to get to know people, and make a decision about who you were going to spend your life with. Then, as things got more serious, you'd start going steady, and kind of precursor to getting engaged. Engaged to be engaged, so to speak.
But these days, many people assume that if you're going on a date with someone, you're not seeing anyone else. Serial monogamy at it's worst! ;)
