You think you're joking, but there literally was an unwritten rule. I got a PM saying "Oops, we forgot to write down the rule!"

Again, you think you're joking, but the rule was to do exactly what I'd done, just in ALL-CAPS.

And they still blamed you for that?

The worst part is that you can't even complain about this sort of thing openly, even outside the comm, or you get banned for calling them out on their mistakes.

Not blamed, but I definitely got a Come To Jesus talk. What's really frustrating is that people complained when the kind of fic they were reading was incredibly obvious. I mean, I don't click on an Erik/Charles fic and go "OMG, there are men kissing in this!"
