Watchmen reread: Oh, lulzor!

Rorschach emerges from the bathroom having killed a criminal, saying "There. Did what had to be done. Can leave now." AND DAN AND LAURIE SEE NOTHING STRANGE ABOUT THIS. Which means he says that kind of thing all the time after dropping a deuce. Ha ha, I love you, Rorschach.

Would you ask for details?

"Well, that was quick, Rorschach"

"Yes, it was just a little shit. Heh, heh, heh. HRRM."

No, I wouldn't ask.

Reread all the memos and letters from/to Adrian Veidt in the last chapters. His notes on the Nostalgia ads: He's in favor of the models being androgynous because it "appeals to the gay community" or something like that, and "that's all well and good."

BOYS.

So I am slowly making my way through the (admittedly, sort of small) list of people whose journals I've added to my friends list, just to, you know, let them know they're on there (my rl friend, who is much more with the lj-fu than I am assures me that this is more polite than just randomly friending people).

I've been following Duality for a while now (or, at least, catching up on it whenever I'm of a mind to ignore my homework and other bothersome rl obligations), and think that it is possibly the greatest thing since sliced bread, but because this post made me laugh out loud this morning, I thought I would comment here (I really appreciate people who make me laugh).

Nice to meet you. And I'm glad someone's liking Duality. Because I imagine most of the audience is thinking "when do Clark and Bruce have sex?" and will riot once they figure out they've been reading gen all along.
