Is it just me, or does Oliver Stone's W. look like a ninety-minute -- okay, probably more like three hour -- version of one of those Will Ferrell SNL sketches, only more pretentious? That doesn't even work for real Saturday Night Live movies (two exemptions, you know both), I don't see it working when all the comedians are replaced with dramatic actors.

It's not just you. The movie seems like nothing but fanservice for all those "latte-sippin' liberals" W. mentions in the trailer. Funny how it's coming out just before the election renders it much more irrelevant.
