And I'm not too familiar with TV production schedules, but I guess if we had gotten a third season of LotS, there would've been a lot of "Kahlan stands behind a rock"? So maybe cancellation was for the best. Until they couldn't hide it anymore, then there would be drama with a male Confessor baby and Shota telling Richard and Kahlan they couldn't have a child and Cara saying great, now she had to protect two finicky babies (Zedd: What do you mean two?) and then Kahlan telling her to feel the baby kick and Cara rolling her eyes but doing it anyway and then making a faaaaaace...
