I always liked Cypher's universal translation power. Not flashy and you can't really change the world with it, but world travel gets more easy and fun, ordering in fancy restaurants, watching foreign movies or reading great literature in the original language. And you can get cool diplomatic jobs or archeology jobs. Or work for governments and break codes, though that seems more dangerous.
