So metafandom has an article on the OP's hatred of subtext (wait for it) because it means the artists are wussing out on showing canon slash. The first comment is so sublime, it is either the work of the perfect troll or the perfect idiot. And the OP agrees with it!

Really? Inception? When did Inception try to appeal to the yaoi bunnies? When Eames acted a little fem-y (because clearly a dude can't look a certain way or act a certain way without liking the cock)? When he had three lines with Arthur, all of them implying a dislike between them? I don't think Chris Nolan was pulling some bait and switch to suck in queer audiences. I think he was just portraying two characters who, uh... didn't like each other.
