Basically, everything City of Bones got wrong, this one gets right.

Ouch. Especially since Brennan is friends with the City of Bones author.

Also, I've been so disillusioned with the whole love quadrangles and pentagons and whatever other shapes love(_{being horny}) takes in stories. If even some of the best writers can seldom do it well, maybe it's something to write with caution.
