I try not to think too hard about True Blood, it makes it easier to like. For me it's more about the execution, and in the end of the day I like at least 60% of the characters, which is a pretty good batting average for me. Plus it's well executed enough. I agree they could use a few more sympathetic vampires, though I really like Pam.
