I'll still take this over the reset button every week or weeks of "Echo protects a pop star and has no personality", but damn, there seems to have been very little pay-off to the Dollhouse mole and little development of Alpha, who's been dormant for months. Maybe Joss is just trying to complete a story arc before he gets canceled (in which case I guess the series is just an elaborate pilot for the inevitable comic), but the plot seems to be suffering for it. I suppose the proof is in the finale.
