So, Emma Frost then...
I remember the day they came and took us away...
Ironically enough, this squares with Emma's history as given in Generation X. Everything else though...
Screenwriter 1: Hey, Fox called, they want us to put another mutant in the movie?
Screenwriter 2: Another? But we already have Wolverine, Sabretooth, Gambit, Cyclops, Beak, Silverfox, Wraith, the Blob, Deadpool, Agent X...
Screenwriter 1: I know, I know. Apparently this "Emma Frost" has a lot of fans.
Screenwriter 2: So what does she do?
Screenwriter 1: Let me check. Hello Wikipedia... okay, she's a telepath that turns into diamond.
Screenwriter 2: Cool. Blonde or brunette?
Screenwriter 1: Huh? Oh, blonde.
Screenwriter 2: Done.
Screenwriter 1: This is interesting, apparently she used to be a villain but--
Screenwriter 2: Done.
Screenwriter 1: Oh. Shots, then?
Screenwriter 2: You know it.
I know it's fan-wanky of me, but the urge to write a fic where the X-Men are real and watch the movies "based" on them is growing overwhelming. Because Kitty would love this almost as much as the Extended Editions of LOTR ("What has two thumbs and knows how to speak Elven? This chick!").
