As I'll go into in the commentary, I think Barda having a big fight with Darkseid would've been redundant after the exhausting climax with Scott and Auralie. Plus, I like the symmetry of Scott fighting back while Barda talks (which stings Darkseid a lot harder than a mere fistfight).

I'm glad you liked it, though. I never expected a series about these two to get so much of an audience!
